Hi guys, had a roof repair on a large shed, which turned into a new shed on the old concrete base. Slate roof, fitted some used bi folds etc. So it's been a much bigger project than anticipated and its a waste to use it all purely as a shed.
One thing that had me concerened from start was no brick course on top of the concrete base. The concrete base is off the ground to varying heights, a DPM the width of the 4x2's laying on top of that.
My other half would like to put some rush carpet down in one half of the shed to use as a study.... is it going to get damp underneath coming through the 4x2s? And how could it be resolved if so....
