Hi all

need some advice, refurbing a semi and a lot of the ceilings need repairing so i thought i'd rip off all the plaster and laths and replace with plasterboard and get it skimmed for a better finish.

the problem is i dont know whether to get 9.5mm or 12.5mm boards

what is recommended?

about a fiver.

oh and by the way, anyone who has nailed their ceilings and not screwed, run out and get some screws quick, cause earths gravity is increasing to such an extent that plasterboards will weigh a couple of tonnes, and only screws will keep them up!
