hi all,

Just dug up my bathroom floor to try and get an extra 10cm out of it. We have dug it out to around 30cm's and sat right in the middle is a 6" rainwater waste pipe. I'm going to change it for a 4" plastic pipe but the main problem is the pipe is about as high as where I want my floor to be. I'm wondering what my options are going to be? Can I lay my concrete slab straight ontop of this pipe, or should it be shielded somehow?

You say the pipe is 6". Is this the external measurement of the pipe or the bore size?

not sure, its an old clay pipe, wide ass bore. its cracked so theres no internal pipe or anything fancy.
