new doors and door frames

hi i am replacing all doors and doorframes in house, what exactly is involved in replacing the door frames ?????????
also any good door places around companies or is it best just to hit the b and the q ?

door casings or linings are stocked or sold at virtually all builders merchants and diy sheds. they cost £15.00 or so.

replacing the casings can be simple, and because of the architraves, be relatively scar free. it is wise to cut the old casings out as this makes extraction easier.

some casings are moulded to suit the wall type, specifically those made for paramount walling or similar thin set walling. the architraves may even be part of the moulding and not removable.

there are also metal casings so beware!
