New Ford custom van

So Ive just had delivered my new van. Super pleased.
A question

When I ordered it i got the TVL anti pic lock put on the drivers door as a cheap extra.
I can see it on the door but what do i do with it?
Ive got the keys to fit in but do I manually turn it? to lock it like a dead lock? ( i got these fitted too )
It doesn't seem to allow me to turn and lock and remove the key. Is this normal and am i actually to do anything with it?

+1 The last Custom van (Ford) I had - my M8 got in with his Toyota key . Well it was a 1985 model
