Hi, we have just moved in to a new build home which has a range cylinder upstairs, a gas boiler and honeywell st9400c downstairs. I had the hot water set to continuous but when I had a shower this morning it was cold and now I cannot get the hot water on - can someone help me please

There will be an immersion heater switch somewhere near the tank. Switch it on and you should have a tank of hot water in about 90minutes.

Is the gas on for the boiler. Is the boiler set to come on?

There should be a thermostat on the side of the cylinder (possibly behind a plastic cover) - make sure this is set to a sensible temperature such as 60C.

Of course in a new build, there is every possibility that the system has been installed wrongly and never worked.
If it still won't work, contact the builder/installer of the system and get them to fix it. There should be some kind of warranty on it.
