Dear all

We are going to have a new kitchen done and new floor. We have some question regarding Marble/underfloor heating/ Safety. Your advice is always appreciated
1) is there any restriction on what type of marble is suitable for underfloor heating
2) We were told that Warmup mat is best
3) what profession/qualification we need to find out from installer ?
4) how do we check whether the electicity system we have at home is large enough to include the electric underfloor heating.

Thanks guys for your help

you will find that water system is alot better than electric, but it will involve a new base screed if concrete subfloor. The electric system is VERY expensive to run. You normaly need a second heat source with it aswell.

For your electric questions you need to ask in the electric forum.

You need to check with manufacturer if there product is sutible and what adhesive and heat they recommend.
