But presumably they offer a range of hole sizes and colours?

and any thoughts on hole prices? If pushed we might get away with smaller ones ;)

OK so got a quote from Howdens for the Tenby (Ivory). Just over £5000 with sink and dish washer. That's about 3 tall units, 9 meters of base, 4 meters wall, 10.3 meters of solid oak work surfaces, bit & pieces and delivery.

But the wall units are not to the ceiling. Presumably because a height of 726mm is the only option. Sadly there is not enough room for a tiddler on top (726+394).

Please anyone know of kitchen wall units 900mm height? :(

Have you tried these?

900mm wall units used to be quite common but there don't seem to be many about. If you can find a supplier of Four Seasons Kitchens near you they do wall units in four heights; 712 and 900 Standard wall units, and 1263 and 1450 dresser units.

Crosby kitchens also do 900 height wall units, they have their own shop in Aberdeen, but are also available through distributors all over the country.

Many txs mypetearthling. As it happens refreshinteriors are about 8 miles from me. They can do them and are going to price it up for me. Getting the feeling it will be a bit more than Howdens but who knows. Can always ask for a discount - don't ask don't get

I'll chase the others down tomorrow.

Well mypetearthling your suggestion of http://www.refreshinteriors.co.uk/fitted_kitchen.htm almost came up trumps. Nice open helpful people who could do 900mm with similar design, quality and price. A breath of fresh air compared to the designer who visited and a few others I spoke to.

Sadly for them Howdens and my builder have comeback with a pleasing unit/ceiling filler, recovered the lost space with a bit of a re-jig elsewhere, and have offered a great price (with 100% of the builder's discount).

So phase 1 complete. Onwards and upwards. And tx for all the help so far
