New LED spot is smaller than roughed out hole

Hi,

I am fitting some new LED spots.

The new LED spot is smaller than the roughed out hole made for the previous light fitting.
I've got a few of these where the hole is too big.

What's the best and easiest way to make this hole smaller (for the new fitting) so I have a nice looking job?

Cut a new properly sized hole a few inches away from the old one.

Fill in the old hole.
