Hi all ,this is my first post so sorry if been asked before. Basic one i hope.I am changing 2 hall/landing switches (fronts only). The existing one is wired as follows.. Top row 2 red into com,1 red into L1 and 1 black into L2.
Bottom row 1 black into L1 ,L2 empty ,1 red in com.
My problem is the new switches have no com socket, top row is L1,L3,L2
and bottom row L3,L2,L1 . And thats it.
Thanks in advance, Darren

Yes, asked before, but in different ways. Looking at the switch you'll see that each switch it is triangular(ish) in shape. You've two switches, side by side on the back of the face plate - facing in different directions. If it is in a squarish box imagine the triangles - with the left hand one pointing upwards . One connection at apex and two at the base. The apex one is common. Common on the new switches is now L1 and L2/3 are same as the old l1/2.
