Hi
Thanks for letting me join
I have just had my walls plastered and removed this switch but didn’t take note of where the wires came from
Can I ask how to rewire it or if I can replace it with the pictured new WiFi switch
I have 2 cables in the wall both Red Blue Yellow and both reds are live?
Any help would be great thanks

First you have to check that two reds are from separate circuits by switching OFF/ON the mcb's in your cu/fusebox.

Then give a full explanation of how and what the switch used to control.

The double switch is fitted but only one side used I guess the other side was for fans that have been disconnected at some stage. Both live wires are fed from the lighting circuit

Cant help if you don't answer the questions.

Sorry the switch is for a landing light which is also switched from one upstairs

It's a 2 way switching circuit so you can't use that wi fi switch. Also there is no neutral at the switch, another reason you can't use that wi fi switch.

Regarding wiring you need to look at the other switch upstairs and see how the 3 wires are wired into that and copy it.

NEXT TIME TAKE A PHOTO FIRST.
