I currently am decorating and want to replace all the light switches in my house (15 in total). I will go for a white look (rather than chrome, etc).

Does anyone have any recommendations for make? MK is the obvious choice but are there other good options.

Many thanks,
Rich

MK are good - can't go wrong.

Basically stick to known brands - MK, Crabtree, Ashley, and you'll be OK.

4 important things to note:

1) Make sure that in your chosen range you can get all the combinations of switch types you need.

2) Make sure that you note what wires go where before removing them - don't rely on memory, because the phone will ring and the Jehova's Witnesses will knock on the door.

3) Make sure that you understand how switches, particularly 2-way ones, work, as they don't all use the same terminal naming conventions or layout.

4) Turn off the power.
