My normal storage heaters connect to off peak only. However, the new LOT20 storage heaters need 2 connections. One to off peak and the other to the 24 hour supply. For the future incase any of my heaters fail. Can the 24 supply be connected to a normal plug socket with a fused spur fitted in its place, without any additional cables going to the main fuse box? Thanks

Usually, yes.
The peak supply usage of the standard Lot20 heaters only run the timer/thermostat/PCB. The combo ones, such as the Quantum also include a boost element, but it is only 1.1kW on the largest of the Quantums.
