Sounds like a fudge up!It turned out to be a blown 30amp old cylinder type fuse in the old fuse box. We thoiught that the new 45 amp
RCB/MCB fitted was going straight to the shower unit but apparently that was not the case.

Don't see why not.Are RCDs/RCCBs rated at 45A?
Nor do I. However, I presume the question was asking whether there are actually (m)any RCDs out there which are rated at 45A. If there are, they certainly aren't common, and I cannot personally recall ever having seen one. The difference from a (common) 63A one would presumably be so small (and the market probably small) that most manufacturers probably don't feel it would be worthwhile making them.Don't see why not.Are RCDs/RCCBs rated at 45A?

Never fitted, seen or heard of RCDs or RCCBs with this designated rating, have you?Don't see why not.Are RCDs/RCCBs rated at 45A?
No, but since you can get 25A and 40A ones, I don't see why there should be no such thing as a 45A one.Never fitted, seen or heard of RCDs or RCCBs with this designated rating, have you?
