I'm having the whole house plastered, they've so far done 2 walls and a ceiling, but on all the internal corners they have run a bead of cork, is this normal practice nowdays or am i missing something?

good call for caulk.
but bad practice anyway to run caulk or sealant up inside corners except in ceramictile corners.
the inside corner is plastered in - nothin else required.
