I have just had some building alteration work carried out in which one 6 foot rad was replaced with two 3 foot rads where a new wall has been built plus an extra 2 foot rad and pipework has been installed about 4 meters away.

The first 3 foot rad on the run is hot the second 3 foot rad is not so hot and the last extra 2 foot rad, the last one on the run is getting a good flow of water but only luke warm and is the one that is more or less cold.

The pipework is in Hep2 so there could be sags in it, could this be partly the problem or if not any help would be beneficial.

Advanced thanks for any advice or help given.

Thanks
Richard

Needs balancing, read the article in the wiki, should help.

To prove, turn of the two three foot rads completely at both valves, the smaller one should heat up fully.
