New radiator with double entry valve

I'm about to fit a 3mtr long single rad in a new conservatory. The boiler is very near but due to space constraints & appearance (no underfloor pipework poss) I'm considering fitting a double entry valve & using micro-bore pipes for the short lengths reqd.
I've not used one before, any probs ? is entry pipe 8mm or 10mm & are valves easy to fit?

easy to fit if you want a lukewarm rad
