I have just replaced two of my old radiators with new vertical ones,which necessitated extending the feed/return pipes now the new radiators will not heat up. If I let loads of water pass through them they start to warm up a bit but as soon as I shut the bleed valve it seems that the water does not have enough pressure to circulate through the new rads. there is a small cistern type tank in the loft so I guess that I have an open system.
any help would be much appriciated
