Hi
I have had some rendering done on my house and the render is still soft to me It does not seem to getting harder if anything it crumbles on the edge and goes powdery when rubbed quite gently.
It was done on Monday of this week and there already putting the top coats of paint on quite concerned that it will end up on the floor.
Any help would be great

Sounds to me like the mix is too sandy,, not enough cement. Drying out too quickly is another reason for render to go sandy. Was the wall scratch coated first, and what is the wall made of,, brick, blocks??

Wall was stone construction, and noticed no render bead on one side, but you can push it and it's still soft,so what mix then....
Bradfords silver sand by looking

If its a stone wall, is it possible they have used a lime render
