I am replacing my old shower and now have a bar type mixer to fit. Reading the instructions it appears that the bar is supported using "rigid pipes" or some sort of bracket which i have no idea about (did not come with it)
When they refer to rigid pipes, are we talking simply using saddles to hold the pipes firm or is there more to it?
I need to work out where to bring the pipework out through the stud wall which i am lining with backer board before porcelain tiling so need it right first time!!!!

Just buy a shower plate (marlo make one) It will make sure you've got the pipes in the correct place, then you can do whatever your doing with the wall around the pipes
