I have a Mira 915b (thermostatic) in my en-suite which is used rarely but I noticed yesterday it was only luke warm so I removed the cartridge to check for debris etc and stripped the cartridge down and all seemed fine.

The shower is still luke warm at every setting, the cartridges are £196 so once its fitted and it still dosn't work then I've lost my money.

Is there any way to examine a cartridge to say that its definatly gone?

The hot water and other showers are fine.

To complicate things we've just had a combi fitted as this shower and the other shower were tank fed power showers before, I didnt check the temp of this shower after the guys had gone.

Sorry for the long post and thanks for any replys.

have you tried resetting the temperature on the dial ?
you have to remove the circlip and turn the hub back.

915b is suitable for combis providing the pressures are not to uneven.
