New shower KW question

Hi,

I need to replace my electric shower and would like to know if getting a 9.5kw/10.5kw would be much different to my original 8.5kw one ?

Sorry but i'm not sure about them.

Subject to sufficient mains pressure you should get a better shower from a higher powered model. If you are using the existing cable is it up to a 10.5kw shower though ?

Thanks for the quick reply Rick. I just presumed the kw figure refered to how hot the water got

Its the amount of power drawn by the shower. If you only have a 6mm cable it will need upgrading to handle the additional power required if you decide to upgrade the shower.
