new shower pump fitted, and now radiators are coming on

hi all, recently had some work done on our bathroom, had a shower pump fitted, the plumber still has second fix to do.

a couple of questions where things are hapening now and werent before the pump went in.

the pump comes on when the shower as it should, however when the hot tap is run downstairs the pump doesnt come on at all, as it should. It just spins when you close the tap off downstairs for a second or two then stops.


also when hot water is on, some of the rads are warming up and this never happened before, i think he mentioned something about a divertor valve possibly fixing it and he will look into it.

Re: pump kicking in for a few secs after hot water tap is closed: you may have a dead leg or some trapped air. Is the pump positive or negative head?

hi im not 100% sure, i bought a positive head pump im sure because fo the distance the tank is in the loft and it being in a vented room.
