New sink, which waste connectors to use

Hi I have fitted a new sink in our bathroom but the waste pipes don't meet up, what can I use to connect them? The new sink waste is about an inch further back and quite a lot higher with the trap I've got... I have found a flexible waste pipe

How standard trap doesn't line up!

you haven't fitted the basin waste yet so that'll drop the trap down lower.
your trap is also adjustable for different angle.

Well they did show that I hadn't fitted the basin waste yet! Didn't know that would drop the trap down as I haven't got the part yet.. sounds like I should do that first as it could fit! Thanks for your reply.
