New socket attached to consumer unit

I would personally run a 6a MCB Radial Circuit, to a single socket to power the fridge using 1.5mm cable, and labelling the socket FRIDGE ONLY, the idea being that the MCB will trip at once, if you try to power anything larger.

Run it off the NON-RCD side, the MCB is a low rating to endure the 0.4sec disconnection time can be met.

you could label it what you like, what if some joker plugs in a lawn mower then slices through the cable...............

You should Always put sockts for outside use / access on the rcd side

alternatively he could wire the fridge directly to the CU via a fused connection unit protected by a separate MCB at the board.
