Hi,

At some stage I'll be doing a loft conversion and adding a second bathroom.

I thought joining into the existing soil pipe would be the easiest way to connect a new WC.

My existing soil connection is an odd one. I've asked a couple of plumbers their opinion and they have yet to give me an answer.

My existing bathroom (before it was ripped out!):

The existing WC with vertical soil connection:

The soil pipe:

The soil pipe has no vent on my property (it's a semi) so must be a shared vent.

My question is:
Is it possible to connect into this existing connection and run a pipe internally upwards somehow?

I'm in the process of studding out the back wall for concealed pipework so if a soil pipe can be run internally now would be the time.

cheers

You need to check part H of the Building regulations. They are readily available on line. when you get the plans drawn up for your loft conversion they should take this into account.
