I’m having my internal cast iron soil stack removed and replaced with plastic externally. My plumber wants to use a pan connector with 32mm waste for basin and then one of the soil stack connectors in the picture and then connector the 40mm bath waste all the the same connector, is this ok? Or does the bath waste need to be spaced further down?

Nothing wrong with it, just make sure that your wastes are clipped and to correct fall. I’ve had a few of those pan connector and basin boss connectors pop out when unclippped.
