Hi all. Simple question for plumbers no doubt: I bought a new mono block tap thinking I could easily swap it out. Unfortunately the old tap flexi hose terminates into a nut and olive around standard 15mm pipe meaning that the thread on the old hose was male. The thread on the new hose is female. Could someone tell me easiest way to connect the new hose to the pipe?… along with a link to a connector or such like, please? See pic. Thank you! Also… are there any good short spanner’s for this type of job? The space is limited.

Fit a compression isolation valve to pipework ,and a tap tail adaptor into it.
Your new flexi will screw onto the adaptor.
Small adjustable spanners are widely available.

If you're going to use the existing nut and olive, a single wrap of gas PTFE tape around the olive wouldn't go amiss either
