New taps causing a noise

I have recently had the taps in my bathroom replaced. They had to switch the water off at the mains as the iso values under the sink was difficult to get to. Since then, when the kitchen sink mixer tap is used, after it is switched off, there is a loud short bang from the bathroom. It never used to do this.
Any suggestions on what I could would be great.
