new thermostat

I am doing a bit of work in my house and i am wondering weather it is best to replace the thermostat. The one i have at the moment is a drayton dial one, is it worth replacing for another one of the same type or for a digital one?

Are the digital thermostats any better than an analouge one?

Is there any real benefit to replacing the stat? (except for aesthetics)

Have a look at the honeywell dt200 quite a nice looking digital stat and is far more accurate than mechanical stat
