Hiya,

Just had new cement tile roof done by very reputable company but tiles not sitting flush against each other and seems odd to me. Will be an issue in driving rain or is it me being paranoid. Old cement roof did not do this (although tbf was so moss covered I can’t be sure).

Thanks! We had such a nightmare with the old roof when we bought the house. Was only 15 years old but so botched at eaves, hips, ridge and join with neighbour, I’m sure I’m just paranoid about the new one having issues. Of course it hasn’t rained since it’s been done so no chance to test it yet

You should look at some of the roofing pics on this site, yours looks like it’s been done properly... I wouldn’t worry about it.

Plus it will tip it down over the weekend, so you’ll find out soon enough if the are leaks:cautious:

Only joking, it will be fine.

Haha hope it does too down. I shouldn’t worry I know. Have a 10 year insurance backed guarantee and 20 years from the company so if there’s an issue I can get it sorted. Looking forward to a bit of mental peace or not thinking about the damn roof! A year and a half of it, I’m done!
Thanks for the reassurance!
