New vac ideas

My dyson may be finished (another post on that), so i wondered what vacs people are using instead of a dyson, or do i just go for a dyson.

I prefer bagless and have an upright vac at mo, but could use a little cylinfer one.

Any recommendations ?

I prefer Panasonic as they seem more sturdy than the Dysons.

we use an oreck and have done for about 8 years. simple idea motor, brush and bag. works really well. main thing to remember is change the belt every 5 months.
