New water saving toilet from Auss

B

BigBurner

A new water saving toilet from Auss. Quite obvious when you look at it. It fill via the spout into the basin first then out of the basin into the toilet cistern.

It should be quite easy to rig one up using a separate wash basin. If the wash basin pours too much water in to the toilet cistern it over flows into the bowl and down the drain that way.

Looks like you store the grubby water in the pan after you've washed your hands in it? Yuck.

When washing your hands after using the toilet you use little soap.

I recall a bath on the 1st floor emptying in the flush pipe of a downstairs toilet for convenience. The bath water went down the bowl. Worked well. Unfortunately not much water was saved, unless someone pulled the plug out just after the toilet was used.

Does anyone know of a cistern with provision for inputting some sort of cleaner, a bit like those orrible BLOO blocks?
Havoinmg top remove the lid doesn't work these days, and the plastic things clipped into the pan are just bad.

SOme sort of dispenser or soluble block in a cage accessible through a plug on the lid, perhaps?
