I am trying to replace an old, low level flush WC which has an "S" trap outlet.

The soil waste pipe is in the floor (about 9" from the wall), and would be difficult to re-locate (in a block of flats).

Can you get a close coupled WC with an "S" trap outlet, or is there an adaptor that will allow me to connect a "P" trap WC to a floor mounted soil pipe.

You can use a 90 pan connector but you'll probably not be able to get the WC back against the wall. If you can access the 4" you may be able to move it nearer the wall

You can get an 'S' connector but these only gain you about an inch at best.

You need to either fit a hih level cistern and pan, or if using a close coupled unit, box out behind the cistern.
