Hi everyone.

I have a corner sink that Iwant to move on to the main wall. I'm ok with the waste pvc pipe, but how do I cut back the copper piping to allow new compression joints to be put in place, with out cutting the pipe with water still in it?

Sorry for the noddy question!

Turn off the incoming mains cold water tap.
Open ALL the taps in the house.
Wait for the water to stop running from every tap.
Cut Pipes.
Alter Pipes.
Turn water back on.

Putting a corner basin (sinks in kitchens, basins in bathrooms) on a flat wall will look awful.
On one side you will have bare china with holes and possibly fixing points and an upstand.
It would be more aesthetically pleasing to fit a proper basin. Unless you're strapped for cash.
