Newbie need help with hive

Hi guys

I hope you can help

I just installed a single channel hive receiver for a combi boiler

I pretty sure I got the wiring right, the receiver light but not turning on the central heating


what am I doing wrong here ?????

Did you install the hive inplace of your thermostat ?

If so you still have your oringinal time clock connected in line with the hive.

This means that the time clock needs to be on for the hive to work. If the time clock is off you won’t get any control on the hive and it’s pointless having the hive.

The hive is designed to replace the old time clock so the old time clock needs to be disconnected and the hive put in its place.
 
Well considering that the OP had said the hive receiver was powering up it was fairly obvious that it was switching 230 volts.(y)
