Nexus 8 RR help

We had our alarm go off this morning for no apparent reason. We typed in our code to stop it and the panel now reads RR T1 T5 T8

We can't seem to get to any menu on the panel as typing in our code sets off the alarm again (typing it again stops it again but goes back to the same RR as above)
There is a siren still going off on the outside of the house and every 10 mins or so the full alarm goes off again.

We can't find anything in the manual about how to reset it, it just indicates that RR means Reset Required.

We're at the end of our tether and I'm sure our neighbours must be too by now, can anyone help please?

EDIT: Note, we never set the alarm because we have cats so the alarm wasn't set when this happened and is never set

For anyone else suffering from this problem, we had to have a man come and see the alarm and the problem seems to have been that the battery needed replacing.
