My kids want to make a series of wooden letters out of some batten that I have. We will make NHS out of this.
We then want to paint it in the rainbow colours as a tribute.

Q. Since I don’t want to buy a tin of gloss for each colour, can I use the emulsion testers for this?
It will be outdoors and hopefully temporary!!!

I’ve got varnish but wanted to use the rainbow colours as is the current trend, during this crisis

Just use what ever paint you want to paint the letters then varnish over the top to protect the paint

Went with the emulsion testers with varnish. Here are some pics. Thanks for your help.
