Breaking political rules is not automatically a crime. If Nigel Farage is found to have breached parliamentary codes of conduct or electoral spending regulations, he could face political sanctions rather than criminal charges. Whether an action crosses the line into a criminal offense depends entirely on which specific laws apply

If I was loaded and had a spare £5m I'd give it to Farage, and I wouldn't want anything back in return.

Rich people have always splashed out on good things for their community, it's nothing new. I grew up in a mill town that boomed in the Victorian era. There are parks and lavish public buildings all over the place, all named after the blokes who paid for them to be built. Including the school I went to.

Good on him, he got rich and decided to do some good with his money.
