At least he hasn’t had to go begging for some other millionaire to pay for his suits and spectacles in return for free access to Downing Street.

I don't think anyone has ever seen the receipts for the specs and suits. It was just a lump of money, the supposed purposes were just excuses. I doubt any tax was paid on this income either.
