I've just acquired a 2020 Nissan Micra. The handbook says that I will need a special security code if I want to get another spare key - it's a NATS (Nissan Anti-theft System) code and the picture in the handbook shows a little metal plate with 5 digits with the key fob, which I don't have. What I do have though is a small insert in the handbook labelled 'Key Codecard'. This has 8 digits. I suspect that this identifies the 'cut' of the key and is nothing to do with NATS. Am I correct? The internet is not very helpful with this, so I thought that someone here might know the various formats.
