Hello. My mother's remote key is not working. She cannot find a keyhole to use the key manually? She says the flashing red alarm indicator inside the car is not flashing. Any ideas what is wrong. How can she get into the car? - - - - - - -
Thank you

Does the key have a battery inside that needs replacing ?

What year is the car ?

If it's the model I'm thinking off then there should be a white strip in the middle of the rotary switch where conventional ignition keys go. Just pull the white strip off and insert the key.

Sounds like the battery on the car has gone flat and thus the remote will not open the doors as the central locking has no power to it!

Are you saying there is no keyhole on any of the doors?

If not is there one for the boot? if there is then she should be able to unlock the boot and gain access this way! then she will have to open the bonnet and recharge the battery!

If the battery is old like over 3 years old it may need replacing!

you can gain entry on the passenger door remove the little grommet on the handle and the key will go in there to open her up,
