I'm levelling the ground around my semi-det. house so I can lay slabs.

I know the regs say the ground level needs to be 150mm below the damp proof course, BUT, the house doesn't have a polymer dpc, its been chemically injected.

how do I gauge the where the final level of the slabs should be, should they be 150mm below the interior floor level or will 100mm pass a surveyors report (will it effect a valuation much?) ?

any advice much appreciated!

Aim for about 150mm below floor level and no it wont effect a valuation at all unless there are signs of damp internally.
