No Flow Cold Water Bath

I have recently fitted a kitchen downstairs, for which I had to drain the water system - but forgot to open the taps upstairs and think I've now got an airlock.

I have a mixer tap in my bath, but only the hot water works. No flow from the cold. My sink in the bathroom works fine.

I took the tap apart last night - and nothing happened.

When I turn the cold water bath tap, I can hear a very feint air blowing/hissing sort of noise...

The water pressure in my house is normally fantastic...

Help!

Sort of... The mixer tap has an unused attachment on the top that looks like it could be used for a shower (but no need, as I have a seperate shower). Tried unsrewing that, but nearly broke my bloody fingers trying!

turn on both H and C at the mixer, then put your hand over the end. Idea is to get the moving water to push air back up the other pipe.
Often it takes the mains, though.
