no heat to rads but water is hot hot hot

my central heating has worked fine but all of a sudden i have very little heat to my rads, Also my pipes are banging like made to the extent that i have to turn my heating off. Also now and again the boiler goes out compleatly.

HELP PLEASE

got water in system ?

sounds like your pump has gone,boiler then could be over heating.
one of the big boys will come on here soon and give you some advice.

undo the screw on your pump & see if you can see it rotating,it might just be stuck,try freeing it with a small screw driver

hi yes it is is it any thing to do with the silver box near it

you can also feel it runing (if running), a very slight vibration. have you got water in the top rads (at the bleed valve) ?

could it be the 3 port valve...it has a lever on the side. pushing it, does this have an effect ?
