no heating

hi all
i have just put the central heating on but its not working i can hear the pump but the boiler doesn't seem to ignite
the hot water works ok
i have an old wall mounted baxi boiler wm511ls
any ideas?

there also doesnt seem to be any moterised valves none that i can find anyway is this because its an old system
