Hi,

I have an Ideal Icos HE18 condensing boiler in my kitchen with a tank in the bathroom. The central heating works fine but the hot water doesn't work.

Any ideas anybody?

Thanks

Steve

Sorry 45years, no idea. What is it and how much would it cost me of that's what is wrong.
Thanks

As the ch is ok, then it's safe to assume that the boiler is ok. Until you divulge any other controls or components on your system it's hard to give any other advice regarding repairs or let alone prices.

Hi, I've got a Darfuss 102ES control panel and a Grunfos Alpha 2 next to the tank in the bathroom. That's about it really. Not sure what else I can do to get the water hot. Should the tank in the bathroom be warm when the water warms up? All of the pipes other than the cold water pipes are warm.
Thanks

Nothing like that. There is a little metal box with a slide type switch on it that says open at one end. It's currently off.

Hi, here is the boiler, controls and tank. As I say the central heating works and all of the pipes around the tank are hot just no hot water comes out the taps.[/img]

Its a long time since I seen a sidewinder, is there any water coming out of the hot water taps?

Yeah the tap is open and the pipes are hot on both sides. The pipe is hot going into the tank but the tank is cold. What is a sidewinder?
