No hot water, CH fine.

Hi there.

Yesterday, I stopped getting hot water. The heating is fine, and when a hot tap is turned on the boiler responds (i.e. flame and noise), but no hot water comes through.

From reading other people's posts on here I suspect it is the 3 way valve...

If so, how do I check to see if it is this? Can I fix it myself?

I am an utter newby so simple please!

The boiler is a Thema Condens F 30 E.

I wouldn't advise doing this yourself if you're a "newbie"

But yes, it sounds like it is the three port motovised valve.

Do the rads heat up when you turn on a tap for a while?

Likely to be a slightly more involved repair as it sounds as if the motor has failed and probably because water has leaked into it.
