We have a Potterton Suprema boiler and Gledhill Boilermate II and have heating but only intermittent hot water from the taps/shower. Sometimes it the taps run hot and we can run a bath other times the hot water quickly turns cold (even when the store is hot).
We have had someone out to look at the boiler who thinks that this might be down to the mixing valve? But then could not work on the Boilermate as not qualified. The only qualified plumber we have been able to find in the area said that he could not get the part.
Is this part something that I can get myself? Is this likely to be the problem or could it be something else?
Any help would be much appreciated.
