no hot water glo worm combi compact

HELP !!!!!!
Wife is driving me mad as I have full c/h but no hot water.
Water pressure ok but flow rate out of taps is rubbish. (glo worm combi compact) has been getting worse for a few months and now boiler will not kick in to heat water. I live in a very hard water area and suspect the hot water heat exchanger needs descaling.
Problem
what descaler should I use as heat exchanger is aluminium and almost impossible to remove.
If i replace boiler with new what is the best available for water inlet flow rate of approx 15 lt/min (max hot water flow possible)

Sorry cant help you with the de-scaler thing as I live and work in a soft water area 99.9% of the time.

What I can help with is the getting the heat exchanger out. Its on page 39 here

Take note of page 35 flow regulator/filter fitted, the flow regulor gets scaled up

also is a scale reducer fitted have had hese blocked up before the type with a metal wire wool inside.
